  2. I remember this clip as is. That's not to say there is no Mandela effect here. That would be incorrect. The whole thing with the Mandela effect is people remembering things differently. There go, some will remember this way and some another way, as in all Mandela effects.
To say one is correct and one isn't is all a matter of location perspective. Are you from this time line, the other timeline, both timelines or indeed neither timeline. Quantum mechanics allows for all. Don't forget the double slit experiment !
Some things don't exist until there observed and some things cease existing because their observed…!!
Go easy kids… it's a jungle out there..!!

  3. He points to closet and says home. Eliot confirms "yes, that's your home". ET points to space and says home, phone. Kids correct his grammar. No Mandela effect here. "Home phone" works with the flow of the scene.

  4. I have gone about 8 years without looking at ET’s face because I was DEADLY AFRAid to look at his face and even HEAR “ET”. I am no longer a WIMP lmao I think I’m gonna watch the movie now this is so funny I’m literally 17 years old and I’m finally getting over it I just always thought ET was the creepiest thing ever

  5. I'm very ecolalic and I remember repeating "ET, minha casa, telefone" (ET, my home, telephone) my hole childhood (that was not much long ago, I'm 16) so I'm pretty confused

  6. Eww! I wonder who is this kicking cans around first thing in the morning. Looking for the next drink. Just thirsty!

  7. 0:50 These days this reaction will get the SJWs in their feelings and deem Elliot a "Transphobic." Damn society is getting more screwed up every year.

  8. ET would be a most friendly 'First Contact.' "Know thou that every fixed star hath its own planets, and every planet its own creatures, whose number no man can compute." – Baha’u’llah, Baha'i Faith

  9. That feeling when you been wearing your socks all day and you take them off…
    (Iconic vine thank me later)

  10. It's creepy because the raggety Ann doll at 0:38 appears at like a door opening later in the movie which is what my sister said

  11. 0:00 Sesame Street Big Bird And Space Guy Saying That You Have An Alien And It Is Not! ITS A MONKEY!, I Saw Sesame Street.

  12. 0:46 When my mom walks infront of me when I’m watching tv and says “Son… we need to talk about your report card”

  13. as a kid this was such a shock to me cause i just assumed he would want to stay on earth but hearing that he has his own home and world he wants to go back to i dunno why it just really hit me

  14. ET is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. And I'm pretty sure Gerty is his secret favourite, after Elliott anyway.

  15. E.T. Is kind of like Wall-E (as in E.T. himself, not the movie), they kinda sound familiar, with a few differences, one of them being…E.T. came first, and secondly, Wall-E is technically a love-movie, while E.t. is…I dunno, I didn't even watch it ,I just watch this scene.
