  1. Best song ever to never be a number one on any chart. Travesty because it was recorded by Terry Stanford and Chris Ledoux, nobodies compared to George. He was already big in the early 1980s and was one of the biggest hit makers even in 1984.

  2. I love this song, but the video of the rodeo is vile. These losers abuse and mistreat animals for entertainment. Sick bastards.

  3. This must be a remixed version. Song is to sped up an happy. The original has a much slow pace and more of a sadness to it.

  4. At the 1983 rodeo, little did the crowd in the Astrodome know they were witnessing the man who would become the Greatest Country Artist of all Time and would be crowned King.

  5. Terry Stafford made the song what it is, but George Strait helped make it a greater classic. Almost ten years later.
