  1. Was figuring out how to Livestream on my own tech channel with the best quality video besides my MacBook camera and this video came just on time and I'm gonna use my iPhone XS Max amazing rear camera now! Thanks Justin, so useful and practical!

  3. Mirroring is the wrong term.

Mirroring implies that you are changing the image of the monitor so that it is backwards and requires a mirror to to be able to view properly.

I wonder which group of technologists were the first idiots that decided to use mirror and thereby obfuscate the actual meaning of mirror, thereby making it harder to find information on how to actually mirror the image of a monitor allowing it to be viewed properly within a teleprompter.

Hold you smartphone up to a mirror and you will see what mirror actually means. It does not show the image of the device forward as these companies use the term. It shows the device backwards and would require another mirror to view the device forward.

  4. Wow, Justin! Thanks for sharing all this. I didn't know I could record my phone; and I even already have Quicktime! I have a new iMac 17" and the phone looks just beautiful on it! I'll have to shrink it for using in regular videos, but it looks gorgeous! Once in a while I've thought about phone demos in the past, but now it's worth the effort and I can actually do it!

  5. Lots of amazing tips thank you Justin.

Did you love the video layout and the background ๐Ÿคซ๐ŸŽฌ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  6. Whatโ€™s your suggestion for mirroring my iMac computer screen to an iPad? I need to see my DAW while recording from mic setup in another room.

  7. We watch nfl football games via the NFL app which forces you to watch using your cellular network and NOT over the WiFi. Since the options you stated, required both screens to be connected via a WiFi network to make the mirroring work, sounds like there is not an option to mirror OFF of a WiFi network.

  8. Hey Justin I just got a new MacBookPro (iOS 10.14.6 Mojave). I also have and iPhoneX (iOS both have ALL current iOS updates. The problem I'm having is that my iPhone safari browser is showing up on my laptop. When I swipe upper left corner to get to iPhone settings and got to screen mirror….a grey screen comes up and say screen mirror, but I'm just getting a spinning wheel…it's not showing my laptop so that I can disconnect. I thought it was iOS update issue, but still no luck. Thanks for any help.

  9. Hi ๐Ÿ˜Š

Donโ€™t know if you can help me with my issue

I purchased a hdmi cable for my iOS last month – my iOS phone which has gone from (iOS 11 – over a few months – from 12 through to being upgraded to iOS 13) yesterday

Now my new 1 month old hdmi cable is not working โ˜น๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Iโ€™ve tried unplugging, plugging and though very early this morning it tried working – itโ€™s slowly got worse… and now nothing, so Iโ€™ve had to revert to using my ver old iOS 9 and itโ€™s working perfectly connected to the TV

We donโ€™t use WiFi televisions by the way ๐Ÿ˜Š

    Any help or ideas?

    Thank you
