Power off the phone. Put your fingernail in the notch on the bottom-left corner and pry the back cover off. Pry the battery up and remove it. Screw out 11 Phillips screws. Insert a guitar pick to separate plastic frame from LCD Assembly. Slide the guitar pick. Insert another guitar pick. Just like the other side. And the third guitar pick. Then separate the plastic frame from the LCD Assembly. Release the headphone jack flex. Then remove the earphone jack. There is adhesive underneath. Make the flex close to the jack. Put earphone jack in place. Make it fit well to the phone. Connect the connector well. Put back plastic frame from the bottom side. Make plastic frame connect to the phone well. Put back 11 Phillips screws. Put back battery and connect metal contacts well. Put back battery cover. Make it connect to the phone well. Subscribe us for more content!

  1. Thanks a bazillion! My headphone jack was shorting out? And causing my phone to have no sound. I.E. it thought the headphones were in all the time. I seldom use them so I just removed it and now it works fine. I think I will get blue tooth.

  2. My phone shows the headphone symbol again and again in-between the calls and video playing.The sound was not hearing at that time. I can't solve the problem . I tried many ways. It really sucks. Please tell me a solution.
