NetID+ Video #4: Enrolling in the NetID+ service (voice call)


>>Hi. Welcome to the fourth video
in the NetID Plus tutorial series. In this video we will be
demonstrating how to enroll in the NetID Plus service
with just a voice line. This could be a cell phone without
SMS service or it could be a landline. So we’ll go ahead and use our iPhone here to
demonstrate this but we’ll be treating it just like a regular cell phone with no
text messaging or app capabilities. So we’re here at the NetID
Plus log in screen and the URL for this will be at the end of the video. Click the Log In button and
log in with our test NetID and we’ll see the Enroll button
which we’ll go ahead and click. And now we’ll be presented with a list
of devices that we can use to enroll. And we will go ahead and choose
Add a Phone Without Text Messaging. This could be used with any
cell phone, any landline, anything where you can receive a voice call. So we’ll go ahead and click that and
we’ll give our phone a descriptive name. So we’ll just call this Test a Voice Line. Click the Continue button and we’ll
be prompted for the phone number. Confirm it. Click Continue. And now we’ll receive a phone
call and we’ll go ahead and answer this call and
get a verification code. [ Phone Ringing ] [ Background Sounds ]>>Your verification code is 0301. Once again your verification code is 0301. [ Pause ]>>OK. So we got a voice call and told
us our verification code was 0301. So we’ll go ahead and type that in,
click Continue, and it’s a success. So at this point we have successfully enrolled a basic phone without text messaging and we can use that to log into
any NetID Plus protected service. So that’s the end of this video. Thanks for watching and please check out the
