Samsung Electronics’ handsets marked a record-high
average sales price in three years. Strategy Analytics said on Tuesday that the
average sales price of the handsets came to 2-hundred-35 U.S. dollars, up five percent
on-year. The average price had previously been falling,
in part due to the Galaxy Note 7’s faulty battery issues. The Korean tech giant sold nearly 95 million
mobile phones in the second quarter… 20 percent of the global market share.
