  2. I can't believe the Martians had been around for that long. They feel more like 90s characters to me.

  3. Like to see these aliens discover a current cell phone. Yes I was around in the mid '70's around when these guys were out.

  4. 2a.m. and I'm laughing like krazy! Thank you for posting!! Mmmmoooo! AHAHA. They go back to their book. Very kurious until they find out what it is. When they get skared! HAHAHA! Natural reaktion. YIPYIPYIP UHHA UH HA.

  8. Makes me think of days when the tv has knobs and us kids were our parents remote” go change the channel!” And we’d turn the knob supper fast clicking past what my dad wanted to seeπŸ˜‚

  9. I wonder how many kids would be just as clueless as the martians about what that phone is. Even regular dial-phones are a rare sight, and kids today have grown up in an era where a cell phone was the only kind of phone they ever knew.

  10. Ran into someone cosplaying the red one. It was awesome. We had a yep yep yep momentπŸ˜‚ It made my day.

  11. WOW – watched this when it was new and liked it. Makes me cry with laughter now. The wife even knitted me a pair of Yip Yips πŸ™‚

  12. I have not seen this in years. I grew up watching Sesame Street as kid and I loved it. Told my wife about it, showed her this skit (and some others) and we had one heck of a laugh. Goes to show it wasn't just for kids!

  13. This wasn't nearly as funny to me as a kid than it is now., 🀣🀣🀣🀣

  14. Omg homer played one of the Marian's LMFAO πŸ˜²πŸ˜²πŸ˜²πŸ˜²πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£

  15. Best Halloween consume!!! (Me and two others dressed up as these guys, no one knew who we were, and it was hilarious acting as them!

  16. One of my friends that's 50 years old told me about these aliens. We laughed and laughed at every video I could find of the yip yips. He told me he wants a tattoo of them.

  17. And the ironic part is that modern kids would have an even harder time recognizing the rotary phone than the Martians do!

  18. I just realized that Jack Nicholson in β€œEasy Rider” sounds very much like the martians whenever he takes a swig from his bottle: β€œnic,nic,nic,nic,nic,nic…..aliens” πŸ˜†

  19. Whoever dreamed this up was absolutely brilliant! It's such a virulent meme that everyone I have ever shown this video to says "Yip-yip-yip-yip" randomly without even thinking about it!

  20. It's 1972 and I'm 6 years old again. My favorite skit next to Grovers "Near… far… near… far". Thank you boys and girls.
