Sony Xperia X Performance Headphone Jack Repair Guide


Remove the SIM Card Tray. Heat up the Back Cover. Focus on the bottom. Use plastic card to make a gap. Cut the sticker on both sides. Then remove the Back Cover. Undo 5 screws with PH#000 Screwdriver. Loosen the Plastic Bracket here. The bracket is thin, be careful. Release the Battery and Power Button flex cable. Rear Camera, Front Camera and Headphone Jack flex cable. Remove the cameras. Release the LCD Screen and Charging Port flex cable. Undo the screw with PH#000 Screwdriver. Loosen the Motherboard form here. Loosen here. Mind the flex cable. Mind here!!! Release the Signal cable here. Cut off the sticker. First put on the Headphone Jack Sticker. Remove the protective film. Make it adhere to the frame. This side is adhensive. put back the metal piece. Lift the Loudspeaker. Hold it. Put back the Motherboard. Don’t hurt the flex. Put it back to the right position. Connect the Battery, Power Button and Headphone flex. Connect the Charging Port and LCD Screen flex cable. Connect the Signal cable. Power on. Input test code “*#*#7378423#*#*” Service Test test to see if the headphone set work well. Then power off. Tighten up the screw here. Put back Front Camera and connect the flex cable. Put back Rear Camera and connect the flex cable. Put back the plastic bracket. Tighten up 5 screws. Put back the SIM Card Tray. Put on a new Back Cover Sticker. This part should be fitted to here. Make it match to the cover. Heat it up for 10 seconds. Make the sticker adhere to it, specially the corners. Remove the protective film. Put back the Back Cover. Make it match together.
